Since the inception of the United Nations, UN libraries have provided information services to the UN Secretariat, the permanent missions and the general public.

  • Beirut (ESCWA): Library of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia
  • Dakar (IDEP): Library of the African Institute for Economic Development and Planning 
  • Geneva (UNOG): Library of the UN Office in Geneva 
  • Mexico (ECLAC): ECLAC Subregional Headquarters in Mexico - Information Resources and Documents Distribution Centre
  • New York (UNHQ): The Dag Hammarskjöld Library is the UN Headquarters Library
  • Port of Spain (ECLAC): ECLAC Subregional Headquarters for the Caribbean - Caribbean Knowledge Management Centre
